My name is Lucas, I'm a developer at Geekhunter Brasil and we're starting using graphs as a solution for one of our biggest problems, the recommendation system.
Our main goal is to improve the technical recruitment experience for both involved parts. With this project we want to make relationships in real time so with every new Job created we'll be able to recommend the developers that have the bigger match.
For now we don't have plans to make Neo4j our monolith's primary database , we are using more as a service we can pull data easily in real time. To do so we are synchronizing both databases (postgres + neo4j) and make an API that manages Neo4j queries. I'm the one who's in charge of this project so you will see me here regularly.
